Mario M. Blanch, Esq. successfully argues to suppress evidence
Mario M. Blanch, Esq. successfully argued in Federal Court that an alleged child pornographers statements to the police were coerced and violated the defendant’s right to remain silent. After the hearing, where Mario M. Blanch, Esq. cross examined two Special Victim’s Unit detectives, the Court found that the Detectives lacked credibility and determined that they had coerced the Defendant to give a three hour statement. At trial the Government will not be allowed to use the statement against the Defendant which will make their case more difficult.
